Entertainment Weekly has released the first official look of Carol Danvers and other actors and actresses in the upcoming Captain Marvel movie.
The film, which stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel, is set in the 1990s, and follows her origin story where she moved from a pilot to becoming the strongest hero during the intergalactic war and also the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“She can be aggressive, and she can have a temper, and she can be a little invasive and in your face,” Larson tells EW of the character. “She’s also quick to jump to things, which makes her amazing in battle because she’s the first one out there and doesn’t always wait for orders. But the [not] waiting for orders is, to some, a character flaw.”
Along with Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Samuel L. Jackson, Lee Pace, Djimon Honsou and Clark Gregg are set to star in their already known MCU roles.
