Marvel Studios released its first female-lead superhero movie, Captain Marvel, and tapped Brie Larson to play the titular hero that has graced comic books for decades.
The movie followed the events of the Kree v Skrull war and saw Captain Marvel tap into her great powers to not only end the war but become the hero that the world needed, however, the movie ended up not living up to the hype thanks to some strange decisions from Marvel Studios.
