Childish Gambino Rumoured To Play Villain Role In Black Panther 2

After the success of Black Panther and the normal MCU tradition of making a trilogy, there has been no doubt in anyone’s mind that Black Panther 2 was definitely going to happen.

Although nothing has been fleshed out yet as regards to the plot, story and cast (new and returning), new reports suggests that Black Panther director and co-writer Ryan Coolger is currently mapping out new characters for the movie and is considering giving actor/musician Childish Gambino (Donald Glover) a role in the sequel.

Although the decision (if it pans out) seems off, since Gambino already appeared and acted in another Marvel Cinematic Universe movie; Spiderman: Homecoming. However, one can make the claim that he role in the webhead’s movie was more a cameo than anything else.

Though assumed dead, it is speculated that Michael B. Jordan will return as Eric Killmonger, who is assumed dead at the end of Black Panther.

“They’re still yet to decide if Michael B. Jordan will return in some capacity but if he doesn’t it’s likely Gambino may play some kind of villain,” a source told Metro UK.
