The Undertaker Retires From WWE

52-year-old American professional wrestler and WWE legend, Mark William Calaway, a.k.a The Undertaker, who began his wrestling career with World Class Championship Wrestling in 1984, has finally retired after a very illustrious career. On Sunday night, WWE WrestleMania 33 ended on an emotional note as one of professional wrestling’s most iconic stars announced his retirement.

After suffering only the second WrestleMania loss to Roman Reigns in his decade-long career, The Undertaker removed his coat, gloves and hat, placed them in the centre of the ring and exited the arena after the main event/final match of the night. Throughout his career, the Undertaker’s been a multiple world heavyweight champion, a six-time tag team title holder and a Royal Rumble winner. The star was first introduced in the 1990’s Survivor Series, although he began his wrestling career with World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) in 1984.
He was part of the first-ever Casket Match at Survivor Series in 1992, the first-ever Buried Alive match in 1996 and the inaugural Hell in a Cell Match in October 1997.
