CStv – My 2 Kobo On President Buhari Changing Democracy Day To June 12

So, in a bid to commemorate M.K.O. Abiola, who died on June 12 after getting assassinated so that he wouldn’t become the next president of the country, President Buhari declared June 12 to be the new Democracy Day.

The day, which was formerly May 29, was usually celebrated as the anniversary of Abiola’s death so this change may not be a good thing.
