The Nigerian Oscar Selection Committee has submitted Genevieve Nnaji’s Lionheart for the Best International Film category at the 2020 Academy Awards.
According to the board members, which included notable figures like Ramsey Nouah, Charles Novia, and DJ Tee, Lionheart was the only movie to check all the boxes and meet all the criteria set by the Hollywood award body.
