To be honest, when I first heard there was going to be a sequel, I felt it would be a waste of time because there’s probably nothing new that will be added… nothing that we’ve not seen before.
And while the movie really offered nothing new in terms of high school/college drama, love triangles, and relationship issues, I still enjoyed watching the Kissing Booth 2 for some strange reason.
It was your regular story; one half of a couple doing long-distance starts suspecting the other half of cheating. A new player is brought in to shake the relationship and the girl, who’d been suspecting her boyfriend of cheating, falls for him… (I guess it’s already playing in your head and you’re already imagining all the possible ways it’ll play out).
Still, I did enjoy watching the movie and while I won’t say it’s definitely worth watching, it’s a movie you’ll enjoy if you enjoy high school/college rom-com.
Also, there’s going to be a third movie, so if you plan on watching that, then you definitely need to watch this because it seems there’s going to more of the same in the third movie.
P.S: This movie proves that women are the real cheaters.
