Big Brother Naija, which has become a fan favourite reality TV show in the country, is set to kick off its fifth season soon, and according to MultiChoice, the winner of the show will cart home a mouth-watering N85 million worth of prizes.
The fifth season of BBNaija is set to start airing on July 19, 2020, and fans are already gearing up to be part of the drama that ensues.
This year will see the winner go home with the highest prizes (in cash and kind) since the show’s inception in 2006.

Last year’s winner of the BBNaija Pepper Dem show, Mercy Eke, went home with N60m worth of prizes and season 5 is set to up the ante by an extra N25 million.
The full breakdown of prizes are as follows:
- N30 million cash
- A two-bedroom apartment
- An SUV from Innoson Motors
- A trip to Dublin
- Home appliances
- A trip to Dubai
- One year’s supply of Indomie Noodles, Munch It, and Colgate toothpaste
- One year’s supply of Pepsi
- A branded chiller
- A trip to watch the UEFA Champions League finale
- 1 brand new Oppo mobile smartphone.
The show is set to kick off on July 19th and the housemates are currently being quarantined ahead of the reality program due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

MultiChoice are taking the precautions in line with the guidelines set by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
