Ahead of the International Day of the Girl Child comes the trailer for “Mercy”, an emotional tale by fast-rising director Emeka Chukwuleta.
The short film was shot in Cross River state during the filmmaker’s compulsory National Youth Service Corps and follows the true life stories of young girls who have experienced sexual violence, teenage pregnancies and abortion.
Mercy is billed for release on YouTube on the 10th of October.
