Mike Ezuruonye Explains Lagos Real Fake Life Movie During Press Conference

Ace Nollywood actor cum director and producer, Mike Ezuruonye, recently did a private screening for, and also talked about his upcoming movie Lagos Real Fake Life at Genesis Cinemas, Lekki.

The movie, which is set to hit cinemas on the 16th of November, is one that Mike enjoyed writing and directing even though there were a few setbacks that he had to deal with and overcome.

“I enjoyed every minute of shooting this movie, it was a fun experience and I will like to thank everyone – cast, crew and sponsors,- who made the movie possible.” The ecstatic actor said after the movie.

On the challenges he faced while making the movie, he said he had to deal with egos and it was something that made him call one or two directors that he had worked with previously to ask for their forgiveness for any trouble he caused them on set.

Speaking about the movie, Mike said that he had to find a way to tell the stories that he had experienced once or twice. He recalled a guy once telling him about big projects and dreams that he had and wanted Mike to take part in, the guy looked like someone who had money, only for Mike to go see a business partner one day and the same guy (who had talked about the big projects) was the one who came to open the gate.

“Many people are living fake lives and other youths are pressured by what they see also, which in turn makes them want to showcase what they do not have, thus living fake lives on social media and at hangouts.”

Lagos Real Fake Life will premiere on Saturday, 10th of November and will hit cinemas on the 16th. Don’t forget to check back for my full movie review.
