It’s not a new thing to the Marvel Cinematic Universe to make fans stay until the end of the credits to either get a glimpse of the scene from either the next movie to come out in the ever expanding MCU, or, to watch the Avengers eat shawarma, or a Duck drink some liquor like in Guardians of the Galaxy.
James Gunn, the writer and director of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has confirmed that there will be a post-credits scene at the end of the movie… which hopefully, will give us more details into either Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok – which are both scheduled to release later his year.
All I’ll say is, unless you have to rush out because your mother is dying, stay through the entire end credits. https://t.co/c58nzDeCnp— James Gunn (@JamesGunn) March 11, 2017
“All I’ll say is, unless you have to rush out because your mother is dying, stay through the entire end credits,” Gunn tweeted in response to a fan inquiry on the matter.
Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Kurt Russell, Pom Klementieff, and Elizabeth Debicki star in Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2, set for theatres on May 5.
