The Federal Government of Nigeria has made a shocking move to get Big Brother Naija banned from broadcasting their show.
The FG lodged a complaint to the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) over the sexual content on Big Brother Naija.
According to a post on Linda Ikeji, the Director-General of National Council for Arts and Culture, Segun Runsewe while playing host to the president of the National Council of Women Societies, Dr Gloria Shoda and her team said they have lodged a complaint to the NBC.

He said that what is going on at the Big Brother Naija house is terrible especially the scenes involving housemates making love and dancing in otherwise lewd manners. He went to say he had taken up the issue with the National Broadcasting Commission.
“We are going to represent that bill You can’t fight a battle without a legal framework; we are definitely going to be conscious of that. I will take up the issue of Big Brother Naija; I have spoken with officials of the National Broadcasting Commission because what is going on now is terrible. Having love affairs on live TV is not part of our own culture at all.
“Let me use this forum to tell Nigerians that a new Big Brother Naija is on its way coming and we are working with Startimes. We are doing BBN that will reflect the true Nigerian culture. We are already working on it, all that will be eaten there will be Nigerian food, the dresses will be Nigerian dresses” he said.
Also, BBNaija housemate Khafi has been the talk of UK for some days now with moves being made to remove her from the force, following her participation and lovemaking with fellow housemate Gedoni. According to reports, the Metro Police Force said the didn’t grant her permission to participate in the show and are currently investigating her acts, which may see her face further punishment than her current unpaid leave.
