DC & Marvel: The Richest Characters In The Superhero Universe

When it comes to being a Superhero, the norm usually sees them either being broke or living modest lives like Spiderman/Peter Parker and Clark Kent/Superman. Although, if we are being honest, most of them actually do live comfortable lives, like The Flash, Ant Man, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Hawk Eye, Bruce Banner/Hulk, etc. However, there are superheroes who are so rich, they actually sponsor most of the superheroes in their respective universes.

5. Emma Frost

Net Worth: $1-3 billion
Emma Frost is a reformed villain who is now one of the leaders of the X-Men. Though she spends most of her time and energy fighting crime, Magneto and the Brotherhood Frost is the CEO of Frost International, a multi-billion dollar electronics conglomerate. She literally funded X-Men’s island base for “the foreseeable future.”

4. Professor Charles Xavier

Net Worth: $3.5 billion
Running the Xavier School For Gifted Youngsters isn’t cheap. Considering the fact that the house gets destroyed over and over again… only to be rebuilt over and over again, it’s only expected that Xavier has enough money to make this list.

3. Bruce Wayne

Net Worth: $9.2 billion
The Flash: So what is your superpower
The Batman: I’m rich.
Bruce Wayne’s ability to afford all the gadgets, tech, training and blending into the darkness, makes him one of the most formidable superheroes ever. Apart from the Wayne Manor being an almost impenetrable fortress, Bruce Wayne was also the main sponsor for the Justice League tower that orbits the earth. Forbes estimates Wayne’s worth at $9.2 billion, and lists his company, Wayne Enterprises, as having an annual revenue of $31.3 billion.

2. Tony Stark

Net Worth: $12.4 billion
Captain America: Take off the suit and what are you
Tony Stark: Genius, Billionaire, Playboy, Philanthropist
Tony Stark is one of the richest superheroes and he always makes that known at any chance he gets. His ability to keep on producing and evolving his Iron Man suits and single-handedly funding the Avengers Tower (which plays host to The Hulk and Thor…. imagine the constant level of destruction) makes his status as one of the richest superheroes even more solid.

1. T’Challa

Net Worth: $90.7 trillion
T’Challa, the Black Panther, isn’t just the richest superhero. He’s almost undoubtedly the wealthiest fictional character of all time.
As king of Wakanda, which has scores of vibranium, even more than Nigeria has oil (look at how much Nigeria makes from oil), and Vibranium doesn’t come cheap.
According to the comics, the material costs $10,000 per gram, and Wakanda’s Vibranium vaults have 10,000 tons of the stuff (Doomwar #1). A little math and that amount of Vibranium would cost more than the GDP of the entire world.
All hail King T’Challa!!!
