Future Card Buddyfight X (pronounced “Battsu”) began streaming on Crunchyroll on Friday, and will stream for members worldwide outside of Japan, Singapore, and Malaysia on Fridays starting at 7:30 p.m. EDT.
The anime features a new character named Kanata Ōzora, a mysterious boy who plays soccer, rumored to be an undefeated fighter. He has a buddy monster named Atora. The first episode features the appearance of the Demon Lord Dragon Battsu, as well as a man hinted to be Battsu’s buddy.
The series is also streaming on YouTube, and there will be an English-dubbed version. Currently both Crunchyroll and YouTube are streaming a subtitled-only version of the first episode.

Crunchyroll is streaming the second season of Bono Bono worldwide outside of Asia, and the first video is already available. New episodes will be available on Fridays at 8:00 p.m. EDT.
The anime’s first season of eight-minute episodes premiered in April 2016, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired. The first series ended with the 50th episode on March 24.
The anime is based on Mikio Igarashi‘s four-panel gag comedy manga of the same name, and it depicts the absurd gag humor of Bono Bono the otter, Shimarisu the chipmunk, Araiguma the raccoon, and other animals.
Crunchyroll also announced on Thursday that it is partnering with Steam to bring anime to Steam as part of Steam’s Anime Weekend Sale. Paying for the anime on Steam means fans can watch the series on Steam without expiration. Crunchyroll plans to add more anime to Steam in the future, and is working with steam to expand subtitles to other languages.
